Successful Democratic Convention Dinner!

Last weekend (May 5) at our local Democratic dinner in Libby, we elected a new slate of Board members for the Lincoln County Democratic Central Committee -- Ellen Sullivan, Chair; Larry Mullany, Vice Chair; Tricia Cameron, Treasurer; Angie Holly, Secretary; Donna Martin, State Committeewoman; Mike Fantasia, State Committeeman; Joe Schlarman and Doug Davies, 1st and 2nd Alternate Committeemen; and Jane Maahs and Pat McLeod, 1st and 2nd Alternate Committeewomen. The turnout was amazing at around 100 people.

Thank you to all who participated and donated! It was hopeful and inspiring. Stay tuned for an in person meeting in June in Eureka!

We also heard inspiring speeches from Shannon O'Brien former Senate Minority Whip and Russell Cleveland, Candidate for the western US House District. Reoccurring themes were rise up, show up, strength through community, participate in democracy, affordable health care and housing.
